Meet the Team
Kristin Smith
Owner, Director & Lead Teacher
​
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and have spent the last eleven years teaching, serving, and leading in urban communities. Also, I have a master's degree in Instructional Leadership from Union University. With my outgoing personality, commitment level, expertise, and love for the youth of Memphis and surrounding areas, I know that your child will become better, wiser, and stronger as a young person at Kingdom Business Learning Center.

I am a highly qualified licensed educator with expertise in teaching and growing low, middle, and high-achieving students at the elementary level. I have acquired the skills and knowledge around creating an environment where students flourish.

*In 2018, I earned a Level 5 score as an educator in the Shelby County School District on TVAAS.

Mrs. Sarah Watson
Enrichment Instructor

All enrichment classes last throughout the school year, and more classes will be added to the list as we grow. We purposefully keep fees low so that as many students as possible may participate. Mrs. Sarah Watson is the instructor for these classes.
She has a GED certificate and an esthetician license. Ms. Watson is also a trained tutor with over 20 years of experience as a liturgical dance instructor and Sunday school teacher working with kids ages 3 to adulthood. She is highly skilled in visual arts, such as painting, creative design, interior design, decorative arts and crafts, and much more. Her desire is for kids to explore their imagination by simply being creative! And as a bonus, she is my mother!

Ms. Kevidra Becton
Teacher​

Kevidra Becton has been teaching for more than eight years. She has been passionate about teaching since she could talk and walk. Ms. Becton has a teaching permit (Elementary Education K-5) and a bachelor's degree in Professional Studies with a concentration in Child Development.
She is graduating in 2023 with a master's degree in Elementary Education. Kevidra is dedicated to making a difference in a child's life and lives for that "aha moment"! She has a proven record of increasing student performance.
