Meet the Team
Kristin Smith
Owner, Director & Lead Teacher
​
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and have spent the last eleven years teaching, serving, and leading in urban communities. Also, I have a master's degree in Instructional Leadership from Union University. With my outgoing personality, commitment level, expertise, and love for the youth of Memphis and surrounding areas, I am confident that, under my guidance, your child will not only excel academically, but also develop into a better, wiser, and stronger individual.

I have a proven track record of success in cultivating an enriching learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds. Throughout my career, I have been committed to fostering the intellectual and emotional growth of students, consistently tailoring my teaching methods to meet the unique needs of low, middle, and high-achieving students at the elementary level.

*In recognition of my dedication and effectiveness as an educator, I achieved a Level 5 score in 2018, in the Shelby County School District on TVAAS. This accomplishment underscores my ability to drive academic progress and contribute positively to the educational journey of my students.

Mrs. Sarah Watson
Enrichment Instructor

Allow me to introduce the creative force behind these classes - Mrs. Watson. Not only does she hold a GED certificate and an esthetician license, but she brings over 20 years of teaching experience and a wealth of creativity to our program.
Mrs. Watson is a trained tutor with a rich background as a liturgical dance instructor and Sunday school teacher, working with kids ranging from ages 3 to adulthood. Her skills extend to various visual arts, including painting, creative design, interior design, decorative arts and crafts, and much more. Her desire is to inspire kids to explore their imagination and creativity in a supportive and fun environment.

What makes Mrs. Watson's classes even more special? She's not just our talented instructor—she's also my mother! With a deep passion for nurturing creativity in young minds, she brings a unique blend of expertise and warmth to each class.
