Extracurricular activities for homeschool children will operate Monday through Friday from 7:00 to 2:00 from October to May, serving students (K-5th grade) and families in the Memphis area.

Specific extracurricular activities can build skills in different developmental areas, whether the program you're considering for your child is physical, intellectual, or creative. However, research has shown that extracurricular activities, in general, can:

-
Build teamwork and problem-solving skills
-
Cultivate self-esteem and confidence
-
Develop a strong work ethic
-
Encourage superior academic performance
-
Help children develop emotional regulation that carries over to the classroom
-
Offer kids the opportunity to develop closer friends than they might make in school due to shared interests

All classes last throughout the school year, and more classes will be added to the list as we grow. We purposefully keep fees low so that as many homeschool students as possible may participate.
Mrs. Sarah Watson is the instructor for these classes. She has over 20 years of experience as a liturgical dance instructor and Sunday school teacher working with kids ages 3 to adulthood. She has an esthetician license and is highly skilled in visual arts, such as painting, creative design, interior design, decorative arts and crafts, and much more. Her desire is for kids to explore their imagination by simply being creative! And as a bonus, she is my mother!
